A VCA Animateur, Catherine creates stage, radio, and visual/text pieces.

She lives in Central Victoria (via Sydney and Melbourne), just outside a town with a name, but no shop, pub or tennis court (there is, however, still a public phone box).

In 2001, she co-founded Castlemaine’s Barking Owl Theatre (BOT), continuing to create with them, and independently. Over ten years of projects include: Gravity (La Mama & BOT 2003, 2004; Radio National 2004), Aurora Calling: The Results of a Joint Observation (Radio National 2007/2008).

In 2006 Catherine was an MTC Affiliate Writer, and Theatrelab Regional Award winner for Getting Away From It All, (ASC’s Collection 06
