Debra Oswald is a writer for stage, television and children’s fiction.

Her plays include Mr Bailey’s Minder, Skate (atyp), Dags and Stories in the Dark. (Winner NSW Premiers' Literary Awards)

Her plays Gary’s House, Sweet Road and The Peach Season were all shortlisted for the NSW Premier’s Award.

Gary’s House has been performed in Denmark and Japan.

Mr Bailey’s Minder was performed in Philadelphia in 2008.

Debra’s TV credits range from Police Rescue to Bananas in Pyjamas to The Secret Life of Us.

She has written 8 books for children including Aussie Bites and teenage novels.

Her most recent novel is Getting Air.
