Jane FitzGerald is a freelance dramaturg.

She has worked as Literary Manager and Artistic Associate for Sydney Theatre Company, as well as administrator of the Patrick White Playwrights' Award.

For STC she has been Dramaturg on productions including Volpone, The Herbal Bed and A Midsummer Night's Dream.

She has also worked as a script reader for the Royal Court Theatre (London) and has done script assessing and/or dramaturgy for the ANPC, Playworks, the STC Young Playwrights' Award and Griffin.

She has an MA in Theatre Studies from the University of NSW.
