Lally Katz is one of Australia’s most exciting contemporary playwrights. Quirky, witty, and formally daring, in 2011 alone Lally had three world premiere plays programmed in Australia: A GOLEM STORY at Malthouse Theatre, NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH at Belvoir and RETURN TO EARTH at Melbourne Theatre Company.
STARCHASER, a new play for children commissioned by Arena Theatre premiered in 2012 and will tour nationally in 2013, while Stories I Want to Tell You in Person, her new autobiograhpical show comes in which Lally herself performs, comes to Belvoir in March.
